Is there an easy way to see how each individual sql UDM of mine is performing? I know I can do it one UDM at a time. But beside that being time consuming, I would like a single report that I could see comparing win%, Ave Price, ROI, etc for all of my 25 or so UDMs. Thanks

Playlist File Mode UDMs
If you are operating in Playlist File Mode bring up the Data Window and select "RUN ALL ACTIVE UDMS" (without the quotes) from the UDMs Drop Down.

But read the warning message first.

Screenshot:

Depending on the number of active UDMs you have and the size of the pl_Profile.txt file you are querying, running this operation could take a while.

To get an estimate for what "a while" means: Run a single Playlist File Mode UDM through the Data Window and look at the elapsed time. Multiply that by the number of active Playlist File Mode UDMs that you have.

Several years ago when I was operating in Playlist File Mode I would run one of these every Sunday night.

I would launch it before going to bed. And the results would be visible in the Data Window the next morning.

At the time I was maintaining somewhere around 12-15 active Playlist File Mode UDMs.

--Hint: It's easier if you have multiple PCs or laptops. (Just run it on a second machine.)

SQL UDMs
Short of biting the bullet and programming a report like that into the Data Window for SQL UDMs --

The best I can offer for SQL UDMs is a work-around that -- in the end -- will get you the win pct and roi for multiple SQL UDMs that have been combined.

Here's a link to an older thread from 2014 --

Combining SQL UDMs:
http://www.jcapper.com/messageboard/TopicReader.asp?topic=1736&forum=JCapper%20101

--Hint: I find that working in a text editor like Notepad helps - as opposed combining lengthy (a) or (b) or (c) or (d) sql expressions from inside the Expression Tools of the Data Window or UDM Wizard.

Suggest doing the initial work in Notepad - and then doing a cut and paste of the resulting expression from Notepad to the Data Window.

Hope that helps,
